The world of international
trade places huge demands on executives, entrepreneurs and professionals
engaging with the fierce competitive dynamics and challenges. At WTU we
believe that advanced world trade education must emulate these demands
and pressures in order to better prepare the new, emerging world trade
leaders of tomorrow.
A range of learning
methods, including theoretical overview, discussion, case study,
simulation, role play, team project, and independent study are all
integral components to the learning process at WTU.
Activities will involve group work with a variety of peers with
diverse backgrounds, who will work together to apply new,
sophisticated business tools that they
will need in practice. Each module rigorously examines business concepts
within the local and international contexts.
Instructional methods include conceptual and
application learning, classroom lecture and discussion sessions, case
studies, contemporary issues speakers, analysis and presentation. The
programs include presentations by
experts from universities and international insurance corporations
combining academic excellence with practical experience.
