EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS (EDP'S)

Who are EDP's designed for?
 

Executive Development Programs (EDP's) are designed for mid-career and senior trade practitioners who wish to gain knowledge about the most relevant developments in the areas of their professional expertise.

Admissions Requirements
 
  • at least 5 years of managerial experience in a relevant field of trade;

  • an undergraduate degree from a recognized university, or equivalent; and

  • proficiency in English.

Curriculum
  Modules offered will reflect demand for professional development.  Internationally prestigious practitioners in trade will be brought in to provide learners with exposure to the most important issues of the day.  Sessions will be scheduled so as to minimize the need for time away from work.
Evaluation
  Executive Learning Seminars do not have exams or other evaluated projects.
Faculty
  The WTU faculty comprises of world-class professionals from academia, industry, governmental agencies, multinational organizations, and global think tanks, who represent various nationalities and backgrounds.
Target Program Deliverables
 

Excellent Quality:

  • Learners with focused, advanced knowledge and skills in selected trade areas.

  • World-class faculty that combines academic excellence with practical business experience.

Trade Capacity Building:

  • 2000 learners over five years who have taken advanced seminars on trade topics.

Institute for Leadership Development

 

The ILD is a United Nations Global Partnership Program. Under the leadership and management of the WTU Global Secretariat, the Institute's mandate is to help define, shape and influence the critical issues that concern young professionals and entrepreneurs worldwide.
