WHAT WE DO

The WTU is an applied learning organization that offers and delivers learning programs with the cooperation of its partners. It organizes  Global Platform Events and provides a variety of Support Services.
WTU Learning Programs
 

WTU focuses on subjects matters that are demanded by industry professionals and students. WTU's learning programs carry a heavy emphasis towards international trade and the global economy. The key areas of concentration are in the Master’s Degree Level:

Who are WTU Programs Designed For?
 

WTU Learning Programs are designed for professionals with extensive work experience including: professionals (from least developed, developing, emerging economies and developed countries) and at least 2 to 3 years of trade related experience, governmental, non-governmental, and private sector officials (Chamber of Commerce, Association of Businesses, Exporters Associations, etc.) from provincial and central/federal agencies (i.e., Export Development Board), officials from multilateral agencies, and students who have a valid university degree and have shown a genuine interest in trade management.

Objectives of WTU Programs
 
  • To equip industry professionals with an understanding of current developments and future trends in the industry and enable them to remain integrally involved in global issues.

  • To promote and cultivate international relationships through the building of a critical base of future leaders in the private, public and higher education sector.

  • To assist participating countries in addressing the need for training and developing human resource capabilities required for the efficient and effective application of industry and market issues.

  • To engage participating countries in the institutional capacity building process and to become a Centre of Educational Excellence for addressing industry-related concerns in their respective regions.
