10TH WORLD SUMMIT OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

About WSYE

The World Summit of Young Entrepreneurs (WSYE) is a global platform of the WTU that is designed to provide a global forum for promising professionals from diverse business and socio-economic backgrounds. The programme uses this unique opportunity to define, shape and influence the issues surrounding global young entrepreneurs and firms from small and medium-sized enterprises and industries (SME/SMI) to multinationals corporations. The goal of the summit is to to facilitate access to dynamic international networks and to build world-class entrepreneurs with high competencies in enterprise development, information and communication technology, trade negotiations, sustainability, and joint venture development.

Since 1993, the WSYE has focused on diversity through the selection of participants from a broad range of sectors including food and agriculture, information and communication technology, textiles and fabrics, biotechnology, energy, e-commerce, exports/imports, finance and investment,
transportation and manufacturing. The summit operates on a selection-by-invitation basis, which follow rigorous standards. Individuals
must be nominated by a business, organization, their local chamber of commerce, or business association.

Knowledge Creation and Networking exploration is the programme’s highest priority. The summit, held every 14 to 18 months, has been organized in the past in conjunction with major United Nations Global Conferences.
