International Joint Venture Opportunities (JVO): The Whats, Whys & Hows
The JVO provides emerging young entrepreneurs with the tools necessary to develop and evaluate possible joint venture partnerships. The JVO is a complete resource tool for young entrepreneurs forming joint ventures, providing essential information and a strategic understanding of value creation. The Programme's innovative applications can also be used in actual joint venture design and development, process implementation and operations management.
i-Invest
It has always been the goal of the ILD to ensure our programmes and mandate remain intricately linked with the specific and practical needs of our participants. One such need is a means through which young entrepreneurs can seek out and capitalize upon opportunities for investment and international joint venture development. i-Invest represents one of the many mechanisms the ILD has developed to facilitate this process. i-Invest's purpose is to provide direction to young entrepreneurs unsure of how to begin their foray into the global economy.

i-Invest is an electronic resource of international investment profiles, available online and on CDROM. It details some of the opportunities for joint venture development, and investment that exists within selected the United Nations member countries. It also includes information on how to fully take advantage of those opportunities. i-Invest allows its user to browse through international investment profiles, and identify those countries that fulfill the user's economic and technical requirements. Following this, i-Invest presents its user with a list of opportunities for joint venture development selected from the VTS participants in accordance with the chosen country. Should any of these opportunities prove attractive, i-invest also provides information on how to proceed, whom to contact, as well as basic rules and advice on how to construct and maintain successful joint ventures.

To ensure a level playing field, the material contained within i-Invest is taken only from officially sanctioned United Nations sources or from the economic consuls and Ministries of the countries themselves. In this way, i-Invest provides a balanced marketplace through which United Nations member countries can present their investment and joint venture opportunities to the emerging generation of economic and financial world leaders.
